A few words from Neil, our new Manager …

After the first couple of weeks of getting to know Village Centre life, I can honestly say I’m enjoying my role and I’m seeing good things. It is great to see the goodwill and commitment people have for this key community hub.

An important part of my remit in my role as Centre Manager, is to build on the good work achieved to date. I have lots of ideas and it’s great to hear the ideas from others too. We have a fantastic team of staff and volunteers and together we can take our Village Centre to new heights.

If you have any ideas, feedback or suggestions, you are welcome to reach out and share your thoughts.

As I look at our services and plan how we can develop, I will look to balance the good things we do whilst adding new groups and activities that reach out to a broader catchment of the local community.

We will not stand still, we will look after what we do well already, but we will endeavour to be more representative of life in the village and surrounding area, and cater for interests accordingly.

We’ve already got exciting plans in development for the coming months and hopefully week by week I’ll be sharing some of these changes with you.
