Meet the Trustees
Trustee since 2018
Mick Moore – Chairman
After 40 years in the automotive industry Mick retired in 2016 and became a CVC trustee in 2018 overseeing the Operational and HR requirements of the charity. He is married with three daughters, a foster carer, involved in Chinnor Youth football and still believes he can reduce his golf handicap.

Vice Chairman
I became a Trustee of the Centre on 19th June 2014 and have been Vice Chair for most of those years. I can often be seen with microphone in hand, at some of our events, hosting annual quizzes, etc.

Cindy Bull – Secretary
I’ve lived in Chinnor for 30 years, raised three children, all of whom attended Mill Lane Primary School. As a family we benefited from all the range of activities available in Chinnor, so I was ready to start giving something back. Trustee since June 2015. I enjoy volunteering in the Village Centre, it’s a great way to feel more involved in the community and to be able to make a contribution to some of the good things that are provided in the village. I sometimes work in the Coffee Shop in the volunteer rota; I am also a member of the VC Fundraising Committee to help with the organising and running of our social events.

Forget Me Knot Cafe
Lived in the village for over 40 years, been involved in the Centre since 2012. Set up the Forget Me Knot Cafe in 2014. You will very often see me at events with a camera in my hand. Also involved with local charity music festivals and Chinnor & Thame Friends of the Earth. Updating the website and social media. I am a holistic massage therapist.

Fund Raising
I have lived in Chinnor for nearly 40 years and have since having my two daughters I have been involved with various committees in the Village. I mainly help to organise the fund raising events for the Village Centre although since becoming a Trustee in 2019 I have enjoyed getting involved in the way the Centre is run.

Annette Dearmun
At bit of information about me …..
I am Nettie Dearmun and I moved to the area in 1994. For the first 25 years I spent much of my time computing to Oxford to work at the John Radcliffe Hospital where I was a Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University and the Head of Nursing for Children’s Services.
A couple of years ago I gave up paid work and since then I have been enjoying other pursuits and sampling what life has to offer. However, there is only so much ‘lunching, walking and gardening’ one can do and so I have started to look around for opportunities to give something back to the local community.
Currently, I am Chair of the XP Support Group – a charity to support parents of children with Xeroderma Pigmentosum (sensitivity to sunlight and the propensity to skin cancer). In 2020 I volunteered to support the local vaccination program and more recently have set-up the One Lottery for the Village Centre.
I am delighted to accept the nomination to join the Village Centre Board of Trustees and if I were to be successful, I believe I could use the knowledge and skills acquired during my paid working life to make a positive contribution to the board. I am accustomed to working with individuals and teams of people to achieve a collective goal. I am told I have good interpersonal and have a positive approach to problem solving.
